Introduction for Use | BIOEAST Europium Chelated Polystyrne Microspheres (Pink)
Bioeast Europium Chelated Polystyrene Microspheres (pink) are polystyrene microspheres infused with europium chelate fluorescent dye. Bioeast's unique dye-loading technology immobilizes the europium chelate molecules within the microspheres, ensuring high fluorescence intensity while maintaining a clean microsphere surface. With a Stokes Shift exceeding 250 nm, Bioeast Europium Chelated Polystyrene Microspheres effectively minimize background interference. These microspheres also feature an appropriate concentration of carboxyl groups on their surface, facilitating easy covalent coupling with antibodies or active substances containing amino groups. This enables the creation of stable microsphere-ligand complexes widely used in fluorescent immunochromatographic reagents.

MES | 50 mM MES,pH 6.0 | |
Sulfo-NHS solution | 10 mg/mL in MES
EDC Solution | 10 mg/mL in MES
Blocking Solution | 50 mM HEPES,1% BSA,0.1% ProClin 300,pH 8.0 |
Dilute 100 μL of Bioeast time-resolved latex microspheres (1% solid content) with 900 μL of MES, disperse using ultrasound. Add 12 μL of Sulfo-NHS solution, shake thoroughly. Then, introduce 10 μL of EDC solution, shake well, and allow it to react at room temperature for 20 minutes. Centrifuge (with a centrifugal force > 15,000) for 5 minutes, discard the supernatant, and conduct one centrifugation wash with MES.
Disperse the obtained microspheres in 200 μL of MES using ultrasound. Add 120 μg of the antibody (previously diluted to 300 μL with MES), shake well, and let it react at room temperature for 2 hours.
Incorporate 50 μL of the blocking solution, disperse with ultrasound, and allow it to react at room temperature for at least 1 hour (overnight blocking is possible). Centrifuge (with a centrifugal force > 15,000) for 2 minutes, discard the supernatant, and conduct one wash with the blocking solution through centrifugation.
