Recently, the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism Team of the State Council for COVID-19 issued the Notice on Printing and Issuance of the COVID-19 Antigen Test Application Protocol (Trial), which caused extensive discussion. This further optimized the strategy for COVID-19 test, formally adding COVID-19 antigen test as a supplement to nucleic acid testing.

Their SARS-CoV-2 antigen test kits were exported to Australia, Germany, Italy, France, Thailand, Singapore and other countries. In the early stage of the epidemic in Hong Kong in February 2022, Bioeast Biotech also worked overtime to fully guarantee the production and delivery of the SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Test Cards for customers in Hong Kong, and the finished test kits for customers in Hong Kong were distributed immediately to customs office, police station, Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, prison, charity organization and other groups by government agencies in Hong Kong at the beginning of the outbreak. These SARS-CoV-2 antigen test cards were unanimously praised by Hong Kong citizens due to the easy operation and high accuracy.

The SARS-CoV-2 antigen test cards of Bioeast Biotech have been clinically tested in laboratories in Poland, Greece and the United States, with a sensitivity of 95%, a specificity of 99.75% and an accuracy of 98.75%; it can detect SARS-CoV-2 variants such as Beta, Gamma, Delta and Omicron, with the detection rate of Omicron reaching 100%.
